Audi Virtuea Quattro Concept

Audi tried to combine hydrogen-powered concept with artificial intelligent, one seat only, this car has the ability to drive by itself without any help from the driver. Skinned in chrome, the Virtuea Quattro is powered by hydrogen somehow (details apparently aren’t required for this thought experiment) and has the unique ability of displaying the holographic exterior of any car throughout history, though Audi would prefer if you made it look like the R8. Special thing about this car is the “brain” that has the ability to change its own hologram body, which mean, yes … you can change the car’s body just with a single push button, hologram only of course but still … very cool concept isn’t it ?

Using Recycled Materials, Nokia Remade Concept Phone ..

Green design from Nokia, this concept phone is almost entirely made of recycled materials, aluminum cans, old plastic bottles and car tyres for the rubber keys. The first prototype showed at Mobile World Congress show in Barcelone by Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo. Although it is clearly that the inside chipset and electronics won’t be made from old tin cans, at least this ‘Remade’ Nokia concept phone will consume less natural resources and more energy efficient by cutting the power used to back-light the screen.
Too bad that this phone is just a concept phone, hopefully we can see this green mobiles in the market soon.

ETNA - Future Mobile Phone Concept by Maxie Pantel ...

Maxie Pantel has designed an eye-catching mobile phone concept. This design revolves around the charger unit. The eye-catching opening in the middle fulfills two functions: storing the phone and charging it. ETNA fits onto an adapter which is plugged directly into an electrical socket: the phone is charged via induction and an illuminated, colour-coded ring on the charger adapter shows the respective charging status. The mobile charger adapter is used to “hang up” the phone, lending the mobile phone a permanent place in the apartment or office. With the help of the charger unit ETNA can easily be incorporated into daily tasks and routines. Scentsory : Nokia Future Mobile Phone Concept

Scentsory Scentsory is a mobile communication device that works with the senses of smell, sight, hearing and touch, giving users the ability to experience remote communication on multi-sensory levels. With the development of Scentsory, remote interfacing will become more biologically natural. The future of mobile communication is ready to take part in rich, multi-layered, multi-sensory experiences. In addition to basic audiovisual features, Scentsory is able to detect, transmit and emit smells. It can also radiate colours, lighting, and temperature from the caller’s environment.

Smell, the most evocative of the senses, can unconsciously trigger entire memories, complete with deep-rooted associated emotions. The average human is able to recognise approximately 10,000 different odours. Over time, odour-memory remains as other recollections fade. People recall smells with 65% accuracy after a year, while visual recollection of photographs sinks to about 50% after only three months.Nanotechnology plays a key role in the development of this new device. Using highly sophisticated sensors, the electronic ‘nose’ samples the odour of the caller’s environs and transmits this to the recipient electronically. Scientists have found that a distinct genetic pattern is associated with every odour, so it is simply a matter of matching electrical harmonics with gene activity. This way, the perception of a smell by electrical stimulation could be technologically induced.
When the phone is in ‘flat mode’ (opened flat), the LED touchpad, two screens and stereo speakers for audiovisual calls are accessible. (Wireless ‘earbuds’ are available.) In ‘open mode’, two screens with a hidden camera and stereo speakers, interior scent detectors, emitter and exterior temperature sensors are revealed. In ‘closed mode’, the phone’s slim profile befits traditional voice calls. The LED screen on the lower folding surface alerts the user to incoming calls.

Tribute to Kunal Singh ...

Feb 07: Former actor Kunal Singh was found dead early this morning at his Vindermayor residence in Oshiwara. The actor took his life by hanging himself to the ceiling fan on Wednesday evening. An actor whose sole claim to fame was "Dil Hi Dil Mein" opposite Sonali Bendre, left no suicide note behind explaining the cause of such an action. Kunal had also been seen in a few regional movies down South. Not being able to make it big in the cinema world has been looked upon as a potential reason for the actor’s desperate act. His friend, Laveena, was present when the incident took place, she however claimed not to have witnessed anything as she had gone to the bathroom. His wife, Anu, was not present at the spot as she was visiting her parents in Ahmednagar. The actor is survived by his wife, two children and his father who is a colonel with the Army. The police are investigating the matter and have asked the family to offer their support for uncovering the reason behind the suicide.

Actor Kunal Singh's father has refused to believe that his son has committed suicide. The father said that he suspected some foul play in his son's untimely death. Kunal's father, who is a Colonel with the Indian Army, has claimed that his son was murdered."Kunal will not do a thing like this. My son is a very brave boy. He has been a very good polo player. He is very good karate expert. And not only that he's been a lovely son, a great husband, he's been a great father to his children. Kunal was very happy and was making a movie called 'Yogi' and on 15th of this month they were going to shoot the final part of it. Kunal was playing the main lead along with three females and apart from that he also had the producer's role. So I suspect there is some foul play," the bereaved father said. The actor's wife and his two children had left Mumbai last week for her father's residence in Ahmednagar where she was seeking medical treatment for her younger daughter. She was supposed to return to Kunal on Saturday. Singh had acted in the Bollywood film 'Dil Hi Dil Mein' with actor Sonali Bhendre. He had also starred in the Tamil flick Parvai Ondre Podhume with Monal, who strangely committed suicide in 2002.
